Propane is a COLORLESS, FLAMMABLE GAS that provides convenience and energy cost savings. To help insure the safety of all propane users, you should be aware of the following:
A distinctive ODORANT has been added to help detect a gas leak. A gas leak may cause a fire or explosion. Ask your delivery or service person to demonstrate the odor. If anyone on your premises is unable to detect the odor of propane, call us IMMEDIATELY.
Propane is heavier than air and may collect at floor level and low spots.

IF YOU SHOULD SMELL GAS...
1. Put out all smoking materials and open flames.
2. Quickly open doors and windows.
3. Do NOT operate appliances, switches, or thermostats.
4. Get everyone outside and away from gas equipment.
5. Shut off the gas supply at the tank or cylinder.
6. Call your propane supplier from a neighbor's phone.
7. Remain outside until the leak has been repaired.
Do NOT allow anyone that has not been properly trained to service your propane appliances or controls, or to make a delivery.
Call a qualified service technician to relight your pilots.
Have your appliances and propane system checked periodically for proper operation and safety by a qualified technician.
